Excel / CSV tools primarily process data in the browser. Some open-source libraries are loaded from a CDN, so an internet connection may be required, but spreadsheet content is not intentionally sent to WUCJ Tools for conversion.

FAQ

FAQ

Here are common questions for first-time users of the Excel online tools.

Will my Excel / CSV files be uploaded to a server?

Tools that need to read Excel / CSV files primarily process them in your browser and do not intentionally upload the file contents to WUCJ Tools servers.

Which Excel formats are supported?

XLSX, XLS and CSV are primarily supported. Macros, complex charts, special formatting or external links may not be fully preserved after conversion.

Can I use these tools on mobile?

Yes. The site is responsive for phones and tablets, although selecting and downloading Excel files is often more convenient on desktop.

Are these tools free?

WUCJ Excel Tools are currently free to use. The site may display Google AdSense ads to support maintenance.

Can they work fully offline?

Some processing runs entirely in the browser, but Excel parsing, barcode and QR Code features load third-party libraries, so an internet connection is generally required.

Why might formatting change after Excel conversion?

These tools focus on data processing and format conversion and may not preserve every style, formula, image, macro or complex layout. Keep an original backup of important files.

How are duplicates detected?

You can compare a selected column; if no column is selected, duplicates are detected using the entire row.

Does the workday calculator exclude public holidays?

The current version excludes Saturdays and Sundays only; Taiwan public holidays are not automatically excluded.

Are barcode and QR Code inputs stored?

Barcodes and QR Codes are primarily generated in the browser. WUCJ Tools does not intentionally store the barcode content you enter.

How do I report a tool error?

Use the Contact page on WUCJ Tools or email wucj1688@gmail.com. Include the tool name, steps and a screenshot when possible.
